Growing our platform in the EU region, we are now looking for a Technical Director – Electrical Engineering Ground Mounted and C&I Solar to join our Headquarters Team in Vienna, supporting our group’s business growth in the Corporate and Industrial (C&I) solar segment and Ground Mounted segment with a focus on following:

  • Project design and planning: responsible for designing and planning solar projects to ensure they are technically feasible and meet the desired performance requirements. This may involve analyzing site data, creating project drawings, and selecting appropriate solar equipment.
  • Project implementation: responsible for overseeing the implementation of solar projects, including managing project timelines, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the installation meets technical specifications.
  • Technical troubleshooting: responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the installation and operation of solar projects.
  • Quality control: responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and comply with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Team management: responsible for managing a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar projects.
  • Commercial aspects: responsible for communication and ensuring company licensing, following local technical regulations and communication with local technical authorities and developing new project proposals and business opportunities.

Job requirements

What you will bring:

  • Accomplishing OR Reaching requirements to have an Electrical Engineer license in Austria (§ 94 Z 16 GewO)
  • Successful completion of the course on electrotechnical safety regulations is an Advantage.
  • Successful completion of a degree in electrical engineering or a relevant technical college degree
  • 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in renewables
  • 1+ years of previous leadership experience leading a small team or project.
  • Fluent communication skills in English AND German language
  • Interest and understanding of PV projects, ground-mounted and roof-top segments.
  • Analytical skills, strong drive for results

Salary: The minimum salary for this position is based on the collective treaty in Austria, and the final compensation is based on your skills and experience.
